It’s so easy to get caught up with the daily grind, allowing gloom to shadow over possibility. Many go through the day with a perspective of finishing rather than celebrating small accomplishments.
Everything can be looked at negatively and turn to doom and gloom. Often leading to a path that feels like swimming upstream. But we have the possibility of meeting the challenge, relying on our faith, and looking for the light.
We can choose to make every crazy little crummy task a positive challenge. But to accomplish that we need hope. I rely on my faith to move me through all darkness.
How do I simplify this task?
What do I need to do to make this tolerable and a positive experience?
How do I accomplish this task with less stress and anxiety?
We can take those tasks and look for a challenge, look for something that makes them easier, faster, or completed with more enthusiasm. I utilize my faith in every step of the process.
When we take the mundane and make it better, we are turning gloom into possibility. I have found hope during some very dark times. Thank you Jesus for leading me to the opportunity, the light, amongst all the doom and gloom.
My go-to is prayer. Yes, I pray my way through my day. But during particularly dark times I surrender to Jesus, again, and ask to be shown the light. When I let go of control and let Jesus lead I find unique ways to move through that darkness.
Most of the time I see things I have learned through the process and I again give the glory to Jesus. I may have found a way to improve my work, gain knowledge, or serve someone in need.
Faith, hope, and prayer allow me a positive perspective. I count on Jesus to guide me in transforming gloom into possibility.
