Solid Home. Blog #371.

There are things we can do to help us create and sustain a solid foundation for our home.  It is important to build a strong structure, a place where we can live each day with hope and free from chaos.  Our attitude, effort, and choices all contribute to the strength of the structure we call home.

My mindset is important to me and drives how I feel each day.  I am purposeful about starting the day thankful and full of hope.  Before I get out of bed I thank Jesus for all that the day will bring.  I choose an attitude of hope and possibility.

When I choose joy and hope I enter into all issues with an attitude of positivity.  Attacking all things that cross my path with a perspective of love and compassion.  When addressing problems with this perspective the issues generally are easily identified and resolved.  Hence creating a strong home.

Another important element of a well-built home is effort.  Each day it is essential to give all that we have to complete the task at hand.  Working together with our family, friends, and neighbors to address any weaknesses and strengthen our relationships.

To encourage when it is needed.  Recognizing when help is required and being open to solutions.  Putting in the effort to find a workable alternative.  Letting go of any temptation to withhold information.  Understanding that a solid home is built on love and compassion.

The daily choices we make determine the path we take.  It is up to us to evaluate all the information and make an informed decision.  The truth is not easily uncovered, but the resources are available if we choose to investigate.

I believe a solid home makes choices combining informed decisions with prayer.  Asking Jesus to help us uncover the information needed to make a sound decision.  And for guidance on making decisions that will strengthen our home and our intended path.

Each day our attitude, effort, and choices determine the strength of our home.
