The Choice Is Ours. Blog #393.

When I feel like there’s no choice, I choose hope.  It is by faith that I, without doubt, know and believe that if I choose to surrender to Jesus, I will persevere through all struggles and find peace

When we choose Jesus, suffering does not disappear.  Often, suffering becomes more intense.  Surrendering to Jesus does not mean life will be any easier.  What it does mean is that all the suffering one endures is eased with inner peace

Suffering without surrendering is like climbing a mountain with a mudslide.  Each time you power through one obstacle, you slide back into the mess.  Stress and anxiety run high because no matter your perseverance, inner peace is lacking.

Faith and hope allow us the inner strength to move up the mudslide without fear.  Without doubt, I know that whatever happens as I am moving up the mountain, I will be on my intended path and Jesus will be with me.

Jesus may not save me on the mudslide, but he will provide the inner peace needed for the journey.  My path might be cluttered with obstacles, but I will be moving through each one with the strength of Jesus.  When my purpose is complete, Jesus will transition me in peace.

Going to church and believing in Jesus are wonderful things.  But to live with inner peace, one needs to live with love, serving others, fully understanding the laws with good intentions.

Sometimes those close to Jesus suffer more than others.  Jesus uses suffering to bring us closer to him.  Someone could be a beautiful believer, yet Jesus chooses to perfect something within the believer through suffering.  Jesus wants us to be the best version of ourselves.

Jesus wants us to choose him, with true faith.  The choice is ours, it is our will.
