I can’t imagine my daily life without love. It pulls us together and unites us as one. Helping us better understand different perspectives and the concerns of those around us. Living with love allows us to see through the eyes of compassion and react with understanding. It also allows us an opportunity to live with inner peace.
Dr. Issam Nemeh spoke regarding unity and how God honors us when we have love for each other and honors us more when we love directly. He emphasized the importance of applying our love and faith to the Lord in our daily lives.
I look for the light in all situations, no matter the experience. Dr. Nemeh took that further and discussed how each of us is the light and is intended to light up others – finding the light, sharing the light, and lighting up those around us.
We each have a purpose, and God has plans for us to do good things. We must have intentions of applying love and faith in our daily lives.
God’s salvation is a gift. We can’t earn it, we have it. However, we can choose to accept or reject salvation. Living life with love and good intentions is the recipe for acceptance. I make mistakes, but my intentions are from a perspective of love.
Once I realize my mistake, I go immediately to prayer. I surrender to Jesus and thank him for the opportunity to mend my error. Always remembering, no matter who is at fault, prayer follows forgiveness.
When it comes to forgiveness, love is essential. If we live with love, we can forgive. Prayer, however, is a must following forgiveness. Love helps us forgive, and love makes it possible for us to pray for those we are forgiving.
Inner peace stays with me in my daily life so long as I live with love.
