Living with inner peace and abundant love brings out a beautiful perspective for the Christmas season.  I can see the beauty in God’s creation.  Letting go of a challenging day to find joy in all the small wonders of the season.  

Despite all the challenges going on in the world it is a time to unite and be grateful for the gift God delivered through Jesus.  A time to be thankful for the birth of Jesus and the opportunity we all have to surrender control and be forgiven for our sins. 

A season that reminds us that all we have to do is love, be kind, and treat people with respect.  The joy of a simple act of kindness or a bit of personal attention to someone who is having a difficult day can make their season brighter. 

I remind myself that we are never alone when we choose Jesus.  He hears all our prayers and answers according to his plan for us.  Giving Jesus control means I am willing to walk my intended path despite my desires.  

My journey with Jesus has provided me with much more than I ever could have dreamed.  I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I trust that when I stay the course and allow Jesus to take the reins, my life will be peaceful and full of love.    

This season can be very demanding and emotionally draining.  Choosing a perspective of love has allowed me the opportunity to see the beauty of all the challenges.  It opens the door to compassion and removes the judgments.     

Christmas was not meant to be complicated, but rather simply to foster love.  We make our lives challenging with all our expectations.  When I take off all the extras and move through the season with love, Christmas is easy and joy is abundant.
