God pushes us to achieve our full potential revealing our hidden strengths and molding us for our purpose. The more I rely on Jesus the more strength and potential I reveal.
Through prayer, I let go of the things I think are right for me and give control to Jesus. Walking away from what I want to do to follow my intended path. Leaving some of my dreams behind believing that Jesus will guide me to my purpose.
Being open to God’s plan is wonderful. Blindly accepting my path before knowing my purpose is challenging. The most difficult part is that leap of faith when I have to give up the known for the hope of fulfilling God’s purpose for me.
The journey is simple until I have an acceptable option in front of me. I might be settling, but it is known. If I let go of control and follow Jesus, the potential is limitless but results are a mystery. I am forced to decide without knowing all the facts.
As I trust in Jesus I begin to see my strength and potential. Thanking him in advance for his direction. Being still while chaos moves around me. Listening for opportunities that surface. Accepting the path that presents itself until the next opportunity is revealed.
Continuing to follow Jesus with a mindset of love, facing each mountain with kindness and compassion. Eliminating hate, fostering each opportunity with a positive attitude.
Winnie the Pooh was told by Christopher Robin, “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” We all have varying levels of potential in all aspects of life. I love how Jesus steps in to make sure we reach our highest potential.
