Chaos, that noise that comes into my life every time I move off focus. Webster defines it differently: a state of extreme confusion and disorder. My interpretation stems from years of watching chaos disrupt an otherwise calm environment.
When I am on focus, wearing the armor of Jesus, chaos rarely interferes with my daily activities. I am aware of the chaos, but I can navigate around the confusion it brings to our lives.
The attacks keep coming, and the confusion exists, but there is a peace that allows me to walk through the noise. The inner peace stems from trusting that Jesus intends to find a way for us to move through the chaos if our “will” cooperates and we follow our intended path. Opportunity will present itself to move away from the chaos, but we have to be willing to follow the unconventional path provided.
Chaos attacks us daily. Evil is fighting hard to overtake us. The attacks on our time, our family, our mental and physical health, our finances, etc., are all ways that evil is trying to break us down. Evil knows the strength of Jesus and knows that if our intentions are good and we have love in our hearts, Jesus is with us.
It is focusing on prayer, love, and Jesus that removes the chaos and allows me to move forward with my day. My intentions are to live with love. I know that I am on track when I am at peace, despite any storm.
For me, stress and worry are a waste of time. Yes, I have concerns about a variety of things, but I do not allow myself to stay in a state of stress. As soon as I catch myself moving away from inner peace, I know to stop, pray, and focus on Jesus.
If I am stressed and worried living with chaos, my job is to reconnect with Jesus.
