I am always grateful for my faith, this week in particular I am extra thankful. I am both excited for our future and at peace knowing that everything will work out according to God’s plan.
Yes, I’m thankful for my faith, for Jesus, our unique differences, and the opportunity to be forgiven.
Faith is my first priority. I am thankful for knowing, “… with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) I understand that life can be tough, but I rely on Jesus to help navigate and direct me through those times. I gently remind myself of the importance of having love in my heart.
In prayer, I ask for guidance, am willing to be patient and focus on Jesus. My faith carries me through all the bumps in the road. Nothing is too challenging for Jesus. All too often I don’t understand my path, but I am faithful and in hindsight, I see the carefully orchestrated plan.
I am thankful for understanding that each and every one of us is uniquely different, in our own opinions and values. I am grateful that despite our differences we have the choice to cultivate love. To see beauty among both our similarities and our differences. To respect the rights of others peacefully.
The opportunity to be forgiven is ours for the asking. I find myself all too often in a position of needing to repent and I am thankful for the endless opportunity. I am careful to avoid making the same mistake twice but am a regular at asking for forgiveness.
I don’t take repentance for granted but am grateful for the opportunity to surrender to Jesus and ask for forgiveness.
I am thankful, excited for what’s to come, and hopeful for a future of peace, love, and faith.
