One reason love is a mandatory ingredient in my life is because we all are good enough for Jesus. We might think about those who have treated us poorly or are not walking the “right” path according to our standards, but we all have an opportunity to be with Jesus.
For most of my life, I didn’t fully understand how important it is to lead a life with love. I understood being nice and kind to others, but I was not living my life with love in my heart for all.
Inner peace grows within you when you start to live a life of love. I reprogram my thoughts from judging to love. When I allow myself to think in those terms, compassion builds and so does the realization that we don’t know what is going on in the other person’s life.
It has taken some time to reprogram my thinking. I still have times when I catch myself judging. However, it has become easy for me to immediately shut down those thoughts and replace them with love. I no longer have to deal with the stress because I give those worries back to Jesus. We all are good enough!
When I think about some of the nasty, mean, aggressive situations I have been exposed to I can separate the issue from the person. I might not like what is happening, but I am able to find understanding and compassion for those involved.
It is a priceless feeling to be able to look at a nasty situation and have no ill feelings toward the person or persons involved. Forgiveness is life-altering and a great start to living life with love.
We all matter and we all are enough. Leading your life with love will open the door to Jesus. The opportunity for forgiveness is there for each of us.
I am grateful that I am able to access the road to Jesus despite any of my past mistakes. If I live life with love for others, my past can be forgiven and I am enough for Jesus.
