I know the plan I am to follow, it’s time to take action. There are excuses that I can allow to block me from my purpose, but I know what is right.
It is clear what is expected of me, the question is will I take action? Will I let go of what I want for myself and surrender to Jesus’s plan? If I continue down my intended path, my life will be far richer than if I choose my own path. Despite knowing that, it is difficult to let go of what I desire and continue with an unknown path.
Being prayerful is a beautiful start on the road to taking action. Giving thanks to Jesus, asking for forgiveness for the times I move off path, and requesting guidance as I move forward serving.
Along with being prayerful, I choose to live with a perspective of love. Each issue that arises is solved with compassion and understanding. I continually remind myself that despite thinking I might know what is going on, I don’t know what others are experiencing in their life. A mindset of love is easily achieved when I think about how clueless I am regarding what other people are going through.
Along with being prayerful, thankful, forgiving, and loving, I have to trust. I put my trust in Jesus when I surrender and know that my path will present itself when I take action.
As I move forward in my daily life I live in the moment. I learn from the past but I am not stuck in the past. The future is important, but I don’t spend time predicting what might happen. I move through life with a very simple plan of serving Jesus. When I live in the moment I can take advantage of all the opportunities that cross my path.
Unwavering faith allows us to live with inner peace. When the feeling of peace leaves I know that I have strayed from my path. Stress and worry start to take over and I immediately know to move to action.
Being prayerful, thankful, forgiving, loving, and trusting will turn the chaos to action and the action to peace.
