If you had told me years ago that I would be embarking on my 8th year of writing a faith-based blog, toliveforsomethinggreater.com, I think I would have smiled and said to myself, “That’s crazy! “  My faith was very private, and my writing skills were deplorable.  Despite the reality of the situation, I would not have said impossible because I have had true faith for as long as I can remember.

My faith allows me to think beyond the impossible.  This thinking has opened up doors numerous times in my life to things that I would not have entered on my own.  It’s not that I expect crazy things to happen all the time, but through Jesus, I am always open to opportunities and possibilities.  

I know never to limit my thinking.  I don’t live in a world of fantasy, but a world of hope.  On my journey, I trust my intended path.  I’ve given control to Jesus and I live with inner peace.  Even amongst turmoil, I know that ultimately things will be okay.  I trust my path and my faith in Jesus, knowing nothing is impossible.  Admittedly, there are times I think things are on the edge of being a bit crazy, but never impossible. 

Most of the amazing things that have occurred in my life are because I have been open to taking a step into the unknown.  Letting go of the familiar and the comfortable.  Giving control to Jesus, being prayerful, moving forward in peace, and relying on my faith to carry me through.  Knowing that nothing is impossible for Jesus.

It is exciting to see people having the courage, confidence, and faith to give total control to Jesus.  To step outside of the box into what might seem a little crazy to get beyond thinking something is impossible.
