On The Edge Of Giving Up? Blog #231

Many times in direct marketing I have heard people say that they were at the point of giving up, but they pushed through.  If they had not connected with a few more people they would never have experienced being a top leader.   Being persistent with a positive attitude, humble heart, and genuine gratitude goes a long way in business.

How does that philosophy relate to everyday life?  Might it be that we all need a reason to keep moving forward?  What is it in our life that pushes us to want to get up in the morning and take steps to conquer our day?

For me, it is my faith.  My faith keeps me from giving up.  I know that God has a purpose for me and I want to uncover my path and explore every opportunity that presents itself.  I don’t like experiencing pain, but hindsight usually illuminates the reason I needed to move through that moment in time.

No matter how bad the circumstances are, we all have access to Jesus.  Thankfully, forgiveness is there for us if we ask.  With love in our hearts, all things are possible.  No circumstance is too much for Jesus.  The question is whether we will give him control and follow the opportunities presented.  Is our faith stronger than our fear of giving control over to Jesus?

Can you imagine a world where everyone gives control to Jesus?  The opportunity is there for us when we live our lives with love.  When we are open to forgiveness and ask to be forgiven.

All things are possible, so giving up is not necessary.  There is nothing too big for Jesus.  That doesn’t mean we won’t experience pain or suffering, but it means we are not alone and will be at peace through whatever life brings.  When you serve Jesus and live your life with love a level of peace is always with you.

If you feel like you are at the edge of giving up turn to prayer.  Let Jesus know you trust him and follow the opportunities that present themselves.  Choose love and forgiveness, give up control to Jesus, and listen prayerfully for direction.   Once control is given to Jesus, the opportunities are endless.
