What If I Misread My Intended Path? Blog #415.

I have come to realize that it is not only I who is concerned about misreading my intended path.  In speaking with others, I am finding that this is one of the most common things that holds us back from giving Jesus 100% control.  That, and of course, giving up our personal goals and dreams.

For those who have true faith and choose to give control to Jesus, letting go of personal goals in dreams becomes a non-issue because Jesus’s path ultimately leads us to something much better, eternal life.  Hence, the concern regarding following the correct path.

I don’t have the answers, but I have had the same concerns.  What I have found helpful is knowing that with the right mindset, I am ultimately directed back to my intended path, despite any mishaps I may encounter.

The mindset is one of love.  When I am living in harmony with love, I am also living in harmony with Jesus.  When I forget to be centered in love, everything is off, physically, mentally, and spiritually.  I immediately feel stress and worry creep into my system.  That is my signal to stop, pray, and refocus on love.

When I am centered on love, my path becomes clearer.  I listen for opportunities that present themselves to me, so long as I am at peace, I follow the path.

When I am focused on love and my intentions are good, if I have moved off path, I will be redirected.  Doors will close, and new opportunities will be presented.  It is my “will” to listen and follow the redirection, or not.

Many times, I am unsure if I am listening to the right signals or if I am receiving interference from something.  I continue with true faith so long as I am feeling inner peace.  Stress and worry are my signals to reevaluate and change course.

I have found that Jesus will change my desires and what’s in my heart if I am living with love and have the right intentions.  That doesn’t mean I won’t struggle or have to overcome issues, but it means I do so with Jesus and inner peace.

Jesus won’t let us stray too far without leading us to our intended path, so long as we are living with love.
