So often, I feel like I am ready for the challenge ahead.  Then I blink and realize yet another lesson was orchestrated.  Letting me know that I may think I’m ready, but there are still a few things I need to learn.

I’ve come to realize that I learn lessons every day.  I uncover solutions I may not have thought of, a pathway I never saw before, or maybe a variation of something I already am doing. 

When I focus on Jesus, I find new opportunities in most things I do.  When my words and actions are delivered with love and compassion, roadblocks disappear, and my understanding strengthens.

I am becoming more prepared for my purpose.  Ready to think and act based on building up rather than breaking down.  Throughout my day, including Jesus, and being prayerful. 

Am I ready?

The only one who knows when we are ready is Jesus.  It is not easy to wait to gain the knowledge and experience needed to complete our purpose.  We must gain all that we need to know so that we are well-equipped so as not to mishandle the blessings that he gives us.      

When I can move through my day with inner peace and compassion, I am in a better position to hear and navigate all the subtle lessons before me. 

As my daughter says, “Your blessings will come when you are ready and while you are waiting, shift your mindset to, ‘Jesus, what can you teach me today so that I can be ready for whatever blessing is coming my way?’”

I want to be ready for my purpose and my next opportunity.  Hoping the lessons that I learn each day bring me closer to Jesus.
