It Is A Choice. Blog #199.

Do you foster love and encouragement or live in a world of despair?

Do you have hope or do you allow yourself to stay discouraged?

Do you utilize prayer or rely on your strength and knowledge?

When times are tough I remind myself that I have a choice as to how I perceive myself in the world in which we live.  I have been one that has had an abundance of strength, hope, and faith.  I choose to find hope as I move through my day.

When we struggle to function, it is important to understand that we still have a choice.  When everything seems to be going against me, hope moves me forward and faith is my guide.

In times of darkness, I hang on to what’s real to me, my faith.  I make a decision to think in terms of love and hope.  I surround myself with those who have like minds.

My biblical knowledge is lacking and most likely far behind the norm.  But my strength is in my total and complete surrendering to Jesus and my willingness to choose faith, hope, love, peace, joy, and prayer.

I have found strength in unique places, people, and events. I have been exposed to some rather awful experiences, but have done so with peace because of my faith.

I give my struggles and worries to Jesus.  I choose to move through my struggles with the peace of mind of relying on my faith.

Far too many times I have stood over a hospital bed thanking God for giving me the inner peace and strength to walk through the journey.  Wondering how this journey will take me to the next step, choosing to believe that there’s a plan that is far superior to what I could imagine.  I choose to have faith, hope, and love and am addicted to prayer.

Struggling to find out where to start? The Bible offers great guidance.  I started with blind faith, gave thanks to Jesus, expanded my prayer, and redefined love.

I am addicted to love, hope, faith, and prayer because of the inner peace that fills my soul.

We don’t know what’s to come in our future, but I know for certain that my faith will strengthen me through prayer, love, and Jesus.
