Standing Strong. Blog #322.

Six years ago, I don’t think anybody would’ve known that I was standing strong as a faith-filled follower of Jesus.  Throughout my life, some people encouraged me to dig deeper into The Bible, church, and Christianity.  I knew that I was a woman of faith; however, I chose to show my faith by leading by example.

Currently, 322 blogs later, my life has completely been disclosed.  I am an open book and a friend of Jesus.  It was clear to me that I was to write this blog.  Knowing if I were truly serving Jesus it was time to share how simple (not easy) it is to live a life of love and peace.

This is not new and many choose to carry their faith close to their hearts and lead by example.  I would guess that there are many people who live their life with love and compassion not knowing how attractive that is to Jesus.  If you are Christian and living your life with love, fantastic.  No matter your religion, or lack thereof, Jesus can’t resist love.

I have learned not to judge if someone is a Christian or a person of faith.  I have no idea who walks a Christian life, a faith-filled life, or who walks a life with love.  What I do know is what I see, hear, and feel; but I don’t know all the details.  I have no right to judge.  Jesus knows the complete story and will hold final judgment.

It’s simple and boils down to love.  There will always be people who know more scriptures, attend church more regularly, participate in more Bible studies, or even hang around with more faith-filled people.

I enjoy being around those who live life with love, kindness, and compassion.  Jesus cannot resist people who love, people who forgive, and people who are open to those different than themselves.

I am very grateful for the church, for fellowship, for Bible studies, and all the other things that people do outwardly as followers of Jesus.  When people are giving, loving, and living a life with compassion for others, they are irresistible to Jesus.

This is simple and beautiful. I have the same belief; I cannot possibly know what another person has endured. I can choose to pray for anyone. I will continue to ask Jesus for forgiveness and guidance every day.
    Thank you for your writings!
