If I were to live my life solely by the information I am provided, every step would be a struggle.  The daily noise surrounding us is overwhelming, and the validity of what is presented to us is questionable at best.  I process the information with great caution and attempt to fact-check anything I repeat or utilize in my life.   

Every day is a challenge, but it can also be full of joy, peace, and love.  The unknown is scary, but not when you have the peace of Jesus.  When opportunity comes my way, it is easy to see all the reasons why it wouldn’t work.  What is more difficult to understand is that all the shortcomings can become nonissues when I am following my intended path.

I am not indicating that the struggles will be eliminated, but I can persevere through all things.  It is faith that provides me the opportunity to move forward despite any fear, any frustrations, any perceptions that I might have.  I don’t know what my life would be like without faith, but I certainly don’t want to know what that looks like.

I must believe without seeing, commit without knowing the results, give up control, and allow myself to be guided by faith.  My intended path can be disrupted by my ability to choose another course.  What some might believe is a safer or known route is very appealing to many. 

I do my best to follow what I consider to be my path.  It is based on faith and belief that the path I walk down will prepare me for my purpose in life.  Despite any struggle or suffering, if I have inner peace, I know that I am on my intended path. 

The moment stress fills my body, I know that I have strayed from my path and am taking back control.  I surrender, giving control back to Jesus, and move in the direction where I regain inner peace.

Challenges are likely to occur daily.  Relying on our faith allows us to move through and overcome the struggles, shining light on the joy, peace, and love in our daily lives.
