I believe in the power of love. The love that I am writing about is not the love between yourself and a partner, but the love of others around you. The importance of how you perceive those around you and how you react to issues that arise.
For me, this is continually a work in progress. Just as I choose to give my worries to God. I continually have to remind myself when negative thoughts start to pop into my head to redirect my thoughts to Jesus. When issues arise or I feel I am treated unfairly, I give those thoughts and issues to God. After I give those thoughts and issues to God it opens the door to being able to love others on a spiritual level.
What I mean by loving on a spiritual level is being kind, accepting, and helpful to others around you. To serve others without judging or discriminating. To forgive those who have been hurtful to yourself or others.
One might think this puts you in a vulnerable position, but I believe it gives you strength. Being able to love at a spiritual level has enabled me to experience a whole new level of prayer. Opening up to love others on a spiritual level has also opened doors for me with the Holy Spirit. I invite in the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ and a rush runs through my body. As my spiritual awareness increases so does my desire to spend more time in prayer.
